The new version of XChat-Gnome, version 0.8 is out. It’s really delighful, and the build process has been separated from XChat proper, it’s a truly separate project now.
The on-screen display notifications provided by libnotify are well thought out, unobtrusive but useful. I look forward to using it at work tomorrow.
